RADIO RUN
BY LISTENERS
seven channels, nine hosts, zero playlists on shuffle
Wavelength FM started in 2019 as a Sunday-night stream from a box room above a record shop. Six years later we broadcast seven channels around the clock from Studio One on the Veenkade — still presented by humans, still sequenced by hand, still funded by the people who listen.
Every show is hosted live or assembled by its host the same week. We keep a public broadcast log of everything we play, pay royalties on every track, and read song requests on air between records.

Listener-owned, ad-free
No spots, no pre-rolls, no branded hours. Wavelength is run by the Wavelength Stichting and kept on air by monthly supporters.
HOW WE SOUND
01
Hand-sequenced
Hosts mix every hour live or build it the same week. Nothing here is an algorithm's queue.
02
Logged in public
The broadcast log lists every track, request and sign-off. Look up what that 2am record was.
03
Kept by listeners
Requests steer the night. The slip box never closes and the chat never sleeps.
